When does this take place? 
     10am Mass most Sundays - check the bulletin for details; Children's Liturgy of the Word        will resume on August 27th. 

Who can particiapte? 
      Children of all ages and ability levels, along with their parents (if you want).

How does this work?
       Each week at the 10am mass, children are offered the opportunity to process out of mass and down to the small hall where they will explore the Sunday readings at their own level, rather than what adults are hearing in the Church above. 
       After the Collect (opening prayer), children are called forward to gather before the altar. They are blessed, and then follow their catechist out the frontdoors. While downstairs children have the reading proclaimed to them, stopping to see what they understand, they may watch a video depiction of the reading, and sometimes children will return to Mass with a craft. 
       Children return to Mass following the homily - usually during the Prayers of the Faithful or the collection. Together with their families, mass continues as usual.
