In response to the Second Vatican Council's Decree on the Apostolate of Lay People, councils of lay persons were established in many parishes to work with the clergy in maintaining fidelity to and expression of the Parish Mission Statement in Parish Life.
Parish Mission Statement
We, the family of St. Angela Merici, a welcoming community with a rich heritage, live out our baptismal call to become the Body of Christ through Eucharist, Evangelization and Stewardship.
The Pastoral Council meets quarterly to review and update progress on items in the Parish Pastoral Plan, which was revised in 2015, and to assess ongoing pastoral needs of the Parish Community.
