St Vincent de Paul Lenten Food Drive helps supply non-perishable food for hungry families or homeless individuals who come to the food cupboard. Here are suggested items but we gratefully accept all non-perishable food donations at any Mass or in the small parish hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 - 2pm.
Week of February 21 - Desserts like Jell-o, pudding, cake mixes and cookie mixes
Week of February 28 - Canned fruit and vegetables
Week of March 14 - Soup and Ramen
Week of March 21 - Packaged potato and rice mixes
Week of March 28 - Peanut butter and jelly
Christ Child Society of Monterey Bay Yarns and Stitches group meets every other Wednesday virtually during the pandemic to share what we have been making. We crochet/knit/loom baby hats and blankets for local under-resourced infants in need of a loving start in life.
